CNN: Man drunk, opossum dead, CPR futile

How much more prove does one need to finally get it through one's thick skull that drinking and driving are an absolute, definite NO-NO? I don't think that neither the police nor the bystanders were having any doubt as to whether the man had exceeded the alcohol limit or not.

I am sorry for the opossum, but I am extremely thankful it was an animal and not a person that was being the victim this time. The man most really has been out of it, trying to give the possum CPR. If that thing had just been playing dead, it could have chewed his head off.

Maybe next time he takes out his car keys after having consumed alcohol, this accident and incident will remind him to call a cab. Even though that possum was turned in to stew, hopefully it also scared the stew out of him!
