Fox News: YOU DECIDE: Want Fat President or Thin President?

Oh dear, this comes across as if the job of our nation's leader is purely based on appearances and not on the qualities and abilities whether he or she would be capable of reigning the country.

Yes, there is a word for this unfair treatment of people and I wouldn't be surprised if that was applicable in this situation. Honestly now, you don't expect a gorgeous looking, but dumb blond to give you the correct directions for getting you from A to B, do you?

Let's just face it; if we had been choosing someone simply based on good looks and/or attractive appearances, it could well be that many of our previous leaders would never have been elected. Why of a sudden start being so picky when it comes to N.J. Republican Gov. Chris Christie?

My suspicion is he may have too good a shot at the job and his opponents are trying to undermine him with anything they can. Yup, a stick to hit a dog is quickly and easily found, but don't underestimate the public.

They know better by now then to judge a book by its cover!
