CBS: Andy Rooney: "My Lucky Life"

Andy Rooney has been the face of '60 Minutes' for so many years that it is hard to imagine someone else taking over and appearing on the screen as the host of this television news magazine.

I hate to see him go and I suspect a lot of people think the same, but at least we will not have to do without him entirely; he said he would keep on writing. We can probably look forward to more books from his hands and I wouldn't be surprised if he will be publishing a book in the very near future.

Mr. Rooney was fortunate enough to find a publisher, but there are many who may have the same writing skills and would love and have tried many times publishing a book, but haven't been successful yet. For those among you who didn't know it, here is one for the books; there is always the option of doing it yourself.

The advantages of this possibility are that you can do it whenever it suits you and have exactly the layout you want. Self-publishing a book saves you a lot of time, because there is no constant conferring needed between writer and publisher.

It is good knowing you don't always have to go by the book!
