MSNBC: Sarah Palin: I'm not running for president

I suspect you had anticipated to find a post about Steve Jobs on here, but since the media has got that covered in detail, there are no words I could offer which wouldn't already have been written on the Internet which he made what it is today.

Let's focus on the world outside the World Wide Web and specifically on the upcoming election. I can't blame Sarah Palin for not running and I often wonder why there would be anyone with the aspiration of even wanting to dive into this mess and clean it up.

It is the most ungrateful job ever and no matter what you would do or how you would go about it; there will always be a gazillion complaints, lots of finger pointing and constant blame. Who in their right mind would want to put up with that?

Yes, someone has got to roll up their sleeves and take on the unpleasant task of cleaning house. Since Sarah has decided this isn't for her, we have to appoint another victim. Hopefully, the pickings between capable and willing candidates are not slim and the 'new broom sweeps clean'.

However, it may be time to look for a good vacuum cleaner!
