ABC: 8 Career Tips for the Apocalypse

Today is the last day on the Mayan calendar. Many interpret this as a sign that we will not make it until the end of the day, because the world and life as we know it is about to come to an end.

Some believe that December 21, 2012, will present us with an apocalypse, while others look at it as just having to flip the page of a calendar. It is hard to tell what is going to happen. We will just have to wait and see.

I don't know who is better off; those who believe that today is Doomsday or those who don't. In case you belong to the first category then you at least can tell your boss what you really think about him and quit. It is pretty bad though having to wait till Doomsday to get a day off from work.

Forget all the last minute Christmas presents. No one will be there unwrapping them, so you might as well save yourself the trouble and time. Now is also the time to splurge and spend money like there is no tomorrow.

Should you belong to the second category then you may do well to go about your business as you always do. Take care of all your tasks, other responsibilities, and focus on your present job. Those career tips may be worth looking into.
