CBS: "Low-end blizzard" smacking parts of Northeast
When you are reading this then you know you survived this long expected and highly anticipated 21st of December, 2012, or 'Doomsday' as it also was referred to. You were probably already aware of that the moment you opened your eyes the next day, and found out that the world wasn't any different from the way you left it when you dozed off.
It wasn't the end of the world. It seems like the days after are coming much closer to that. The weather is wreaking havoc upon us with tornadoes, heavy rainfall, blizzards, extreme cold fronts, and lots of snow. And that is only in regard to our neck of the woods. It may not be any better in the rest of the world.
We are not out of those woods yet. There is still the fiscal cliff hanging over our heads like the sword of Damocles. Maybe it would be better to say that we are hanging over the fiscal cliff, holding on to Damocles' sword. The sword cuts both ways, meaning; whether we go over or not, we will get cut somehow, anyway.
That sure makes you wonder, huh. What's the world coming to? One would suspect that it can't be that bad, because we already survived the end.
Or..., did we?!
