CNN: 'Big Bang Theory' stalls

I would hate to see this comedy series go up in smoke and I suspect I am not the only one. This series has been extremely popular ever since it aired a few years ago. According to the article, the hold up for shooting another season of the Big Bang Theory is due to "ongoing contract negotiations".

That can take quite a while, seeing how Sheldon is probably trying to come up with some complicated, irrefutable, scientific formula to prove why more payment is inevitable. More delay is caused by Raj who is not talking to women, so his thoughts have to be channeled through Howard.

Well, the latter is taking his sweet time relaying Raj's opinions, because he is bickering with his mom. Penny is too blonde to grasp the concept and Lennard is wasting most of his time trying to talk some sense into her.

On one hand, I don't see this being resolved any time soon. That is too bad, because I was really looking forward to the new season. On the other hand, you never know. It could be over in no time. What may have started it all could just as well be the end of it all.
